Central Arizona Conservation Alliance
The Central Arizona Conservation Alliance (CAZCA) was founded in 2012 as an ongoing initiative of Desert Botanical Garden. Together with regional partners, CAZCA developed a long-term strategy for the preservation of Maricopa County’s open spaces to support a healthy ecosystem and provide beautiful, safe open spaces for recreation, education, and relaxation.

The National Forest Foundation (NFF) was created with a simple mission: bring people together to restore and enhance National Forests and Grasslands. The NFF leads forest conservation efforts, promotes responsible recreation, and engages people in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System.

The agency was created on the principle of managing the Nation’s natural resources “for the greatest good, for the greatest number, for the longest time.” Their mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the Nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations.
Wild Arizona
Wild Arizona’s mission is to protect, unite, and restore wild lands and waters across Arizona and beyond. We organize and amplify multi-community voices of support for legislation and special designations; advocate for conservation science-based environmental policy and planning; and cultivate stewardship, social/environmental awareness, and well-being through outdoor volunteerism, science, and education.
Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community — Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Division
The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Division (EPNR) of the Community Development Department (CDD) was established to enhance the quality of life within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) by protecting and preserving the land, ecosystems, wildlife, history, and natural resources of the Community.
Arizona State Parks & Trails
The Arizona State Parks & Trails mission is managing and conserving Arizona’s natural, cultural and recreational resources for the benefit of the people, both in their parks and through their partners. The agency manages more than 64,000 acres of land and includes the State Trails Program, outdoor-related grants program, statewide outdoor recreation planning, the State Historic Preservation Office, and the Off-Highway Vehicle Program. The agency not only promotes physical and mental health and wellness within Arizona communities, but also helps drive the economy, and enhance and protect local communities and cultures.
San Carlos Apache Tribe – Economic Development
The Economic Development Department of the San Carlos Apache Tribe delivers a range of services to the community and our regional partners. The office mentors, maintains, and shapes business relationships. It generates all necessary infrastructure documents, including comprehensive economic development strategies, strategic plans, and tribal economic reports. This office oversees public relations for Tribal development, small business development, Tribal enterprise assistance and development, and the tourism sector.
